Allosaurus was among the earliest dinosaur discoveries, and fossils are plentiful, making it a darling of paleontologists, as well as amateur dinosaur observers. The name Allosaurus means “different lizard”. It stood 16 feet tall; 3 feet taller than the average elephant. It could move at about 20 MPH—the speed of a charging giraffe.
Each Master Replicas Group fossil replica is hand-cast and hand-finished at our facility in Pennsylvania, USA. Every replica is cast in super-strong Smooth-On resin for durability. Imported fragile polystone is never used in our recreations. MRG replicas are made to last a lifetime!
The Allosaurus Claw comes with a thermoformed, crystal-clear acrylic stand that has been designed to perfectly cradle your fossil for an ideal display.
