Almost 50 years ago, on May 18, 1969, the crew of NASA's Apollo 10 mission launched toward the moon with astronauts Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan on board.
The mission was considered a dress rehearsal for the planned Apollo 11 lunar landing. Astronauts Cernan and Stafford flew the landing module to about 9 miles off the moon’s surface but never actually touched down.
The Apollo 10 mission doesn’t get as much recognition as the Apollo 11 mission but without it, Apollo 11 probably wouldn’t have been the success it was. So to celebrate this milestone in NASA history, Master Replicas Group is offering 20% off our full line of space collectibles! Our Space Terrains and AeroArt Blueprints are a must have for all space collectors and enthusiasts. The sale starts today, Thursday, May 16th, and ends Monday, May 20th.
Click HERE to check out our Limited Edition Olympus Mons and Tycho Crater Space Terrains. Each Space Terrain is an exacting recreation of a specific extra-terrestrial topographic detail. MRG has perfected a process by which we digitally combine NASA LRO or MRO radar-scan data with super-high resolution photos to create an unprecedented level of detail! We then output these files in 3D with a resolution down to 16 microns!
Click HERE to check out our AeroArt Blueprints. Each Aero-Art blueprint is digitally scanned from original, vintage NASA artwork. Our artists then sharpen and define the detail and colors, and remove tears, creases, coffee stains, etc. Each pristine file is then printed on acid-free, archival 100# paper and ships rolled in a protective bag and tube with an informational label. There are six unique and beautiful blueprints to choose from. If you are having trouble deciding which piece of AeroArt to purchase, why not collect them all!
